Deepak Mhaskey is named National Convenor for social media, taking over the department Amit Malviya had led since 2015. Malviya remains co-in-charge for West Bengal and a member of the national executive, and congratulates him on the appointment. The party gives no public explanation for the change.

Speaking to India Today, he outlines a platform strategy centred on Instagram and short-form video, content differentiated from Gen Z to Gen X, study of how algorithms shape political reach, and a booth-level digital network. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and state BJP president Kiran Deo say the appointments reflect the central leadership's "unwavering trust and respect" for Chhattisgarh's party workers.
